God made a great promise to Abram:
"I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you;
I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you". (Genesis 12:2,3)
What an awesome promise! But are their qualities in Abram's life, in the way he lived, that allowed God to trust him with such blessing? I believe so as we see in Genesis 3:1-9.
Abram heard from God- v. 1-3
Abram obeyed God- v. 4-6
Abram worshiped God- v. 7-9
