It's never best to live with the enemy- Ruth 1:2
Elimelech took his family to Moab, enemy territory, to avoid a famine. He probably never planned to stay. But he did. He settled there.
Many times, we find ourselves in places we thought we'd never be. We head down a path and realize it's no place to stay. But we settle. In the land of the enemy.
In the moment, Moab may seem appealing. But it's never best to live with the enemy.
